On the occasion of the 2017 edition of the Fubiz Talks, we will have the pleasure of welcoming film director Edouard Salier. He will reveal some of his secrets of creation during this event that celebrates creativity and innovation organized in collaboration with TETRO.

After his studies in visual arts in Paris, Edouard Salier started to design album covers for Doctor L and then directed his music movie, Moutains. Then, in the collective Art Posthume , he began his audio-visual experimentations which blend design, photography, graphic design and video. In 2005, he directed to short-films Empire and Flesh. He presented both of them in the independent film festival of Sundance and then around the world (Paris, Venice, London, New York, Toronto, Hambourg, Seoul, …) and te movies won numerous awards worldwide. He is currently making a new short-film in Cuba which will be released very soon.

Greatly influenced by music, he collaborates with many musicians and directs spectacular music video. Justice, Air, Massive Attack, Metronomy, for each of these bands Edouard Salier imagined and built visual worlds which seem to translate sounds into images. The virtuosity of images is of great interest for international companies such as Nike, Coca-Cola or Smirnoff for which he created innovative and creative commercials.
