Thomas Hedger’s main inspiration is, surprisingly, gaz station. This transition place is rarely remarked and often quickly forgotten. This particular surreal atmosphere is very typical of desolated spaces.
Hedger’s illustrations are oniriques and cold, but soft in the same time, thanks to pastel colors. The illustrator catches fundamental details that are actually rarely seen in daily life by adopting a perspective that reminds Edward Hopper art.
