« If you don’t like Martin Scorsese you don’t like movies » Robert de Niro used to say. He is quite right. Scorsese is above all an amazing story teller. He creates complexe and revolutionary characters, such as the crazy protagonist of Taxi Driver or the megalomaniac but still touching Wolf of Wall Street.
His movies are true historical frames of American society. The perfect technique makes them look more like books than like few hours films.
