Antoine Renault is a French painter now based in Amsterdam. Inspired by the landscapes of of Noirmoutier, which the painter seems very attached, to Amorgos in Greece, this self-taught artist reveals here extremely refreshing paintings, through which it’s easy to feel the heat of the summer. With great realism and sensitivity, he perfectly illustrates the movements of the body moving in water, transparency and shimmering surface.
