People often say that we need to keep the soul of a child when growing up. If we observe his work, it is pretty obvious that the Mexican designer and photographer Felix Hernandez is trying to apply this rule strictly. By creating scenes with children’s toys that seem to be actual size elements, the artist probably rediscovers the pleasure of playing that we can feel during childhood. Boats, planes and miniature soldiers appear to be getting out of a real environment, in the middle of plumes of smoke and snow surfaces.
