Studio Luz Interruptus invested, in last January, the fountain of Trafalgar Square for the festival Lumiere London 2016. They’ve presented a new version of their installation Plastic Island. To fight against the sea pollution threatening the aquatic wildlife, they filled the fountain of 13 000 recycled floating plastic bottles, enlightened by the light provided naturally by the English monument.
