Spanish artist Rocio Montoya, that we already know for her magnificent collages, just released a new series called Parasomnia. The parasomnia is a category of sleep troubles that implies strange movements, behaviors, perceptions and emotions. It doesn’t wake up the sleepy person and it reflects the idea of body as a shelter and an evasion of the latent and primary deepest desires. In the continuity of her series Hypnopompic, Rocio wanted to illustrate this state through a series of floral handmade photo-collages, staging a naked young woman.

Muse: Selene Ramal.
