On the 22nd July, photographer Rick Bowmer, working for AP Photo, immortalized the landscapes of the Bonneville Salt Flats, the salty desert of Utah, where (normally) the Salt Flats Speed Week takes place. Each year, thousands of visitors come from all around the world to watch cars and motorcycles racing and speeding on these salt flats. For the second year, this event was cancelled because of the wet weather that forbids drivers’ races.
