
“Space Jam” is one of the movies that made kids’ childhoods in the 1990s. An excellent sports movie mixing reality and animation, it saw the Looney Tunes engaged in an epic basketball game against aliens, the Monstars. The Looney Tunes were coached by the unforgettable Michael Jordan. For its 2021 version, “Space Jam: New Era,” brings in champion LeBron James and other big names in the contemporary NBA. LeBron James grew up watching “Space Jam” and wants to give a new generation its own “game of the decade” with Looney Tunes and new enemies. The champ unveiled the uniforms for the new film and the first trailer. Warner confirmed that the Space Jam sequel will be released in theaters and on HBO Max on July 16 this year.
