Fubiz Premiere: Strong Asian Mothers – Hard To Find

Fubiz proudly presents the latest music video from the London based Trio Strong Asian Mothers (S.A.M), called “Hard To Find“. Homemade, ambitious and perfectly retro, this masterpiece directed by Tom + Amar is a tribute to the golden galactic era of sci-fi adventure and fantasy from our childhoods.

Speaking on the video, Tom & Amar said: “We tried to replicate the film techniques from the 70’s, building life-size sets and miniature models ourselves.” There’s even a stunning cartoon animated section in the bridge, made by their friend Claire Pinegar.

The creativity and perfect balance between lo-fi and vintage make this video one of the best we’ve seen this year. We’re truly amazed by what Tom & Amar, the band, and their moms (yes, they are in the video, and yes, it is fantastic) have achieved here themselves. All it takes is some dedication, and some hoover tubes. Star Wars, Star Trek, and everything-star-related fans – you have to watch this.
