Katy Biele is a multidisciplinary artist from Chile, currently based in Victoria BC, Canada. Her visual language explores beyond medium and color to create imaginary and intuitive worlds, often inhabited by spiritual beings, communicating between paint and fiber. In her “Blending Nature” temporary art installation, Biele created temporary textile pieces that are appearing “sporadically in various outdoor settings to draw importance to the importance of nature”. The fleeting character of her installation makes it even more special to see. Also, her installation does not harm any nature and the artist leaves no trace afterward.
