The architectural firm Snøhetta is the winner of a design competition for Theodore Roosevelt’s Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota.
The firm based in New York and Oslo was chosen from a short list including the American firm Studio Gang and the Danish studio Henning Larsen to design the library.
Snøhetta’s project is topped by a huge curved roof designed to serve as an extension to the site in Medora, North Dakota, which is surrounded by the Badlands, adjoins Theodore Roosevelt National Park and offers a view of the Elkhorn Ranch.
