The toll is heavy in Australia, where bushfires have ravaged the country since September. While most of the fires have been brought under control, in part thanks to heavy rain, there are no less than 10 million hectares that have gone up in smoke, 33 dead and more than a billion animals killed. To support the country, the American toy maker Funko created a limited edition figurine of the Australian firefighters.

With this toy called “Bushfire Heroes”, which represents a fire soldier and a koala, the brand is joining forces with animal protection associations. The entire sales of these figurines – sold at $ 19.99 per unit – will be donated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSCPA National). Currently available for pre-order on the Popcultcha website, the toys will be delivered in June 2020.
