A historic quarry in eastern France is gaining tourist traction and the increased traffic is due to a series of unique, quirky structures along a hillside leading to the quarry.

Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter, a Norwegian architect company led by Reiulf Ramstad, created the piece of art along the Chemin des Carrieres. It turns out to be an 11-kilometer trail through lonely villages and mountains among the suburbs of Strasbourg.

Along the 11-kilometer path goes a story, which the stops split into five chapters of different sequences of landscapes, offering varied universes and highlighting remarkable sites,” says the firm.
