A duo known previously by the name of Luftwerk, consisting of the well-known architect Iker Gil and sound designer Oriol Tarrago, have a new installation entitled “Geometries of Light”. It is a project celebrating the unique architectural design of Miles van der Rohe.

The duo put on two exhibitions — one in Germany and one in Chicago. They made an initial visit to the original artwork which inspired the project because of its apparent no-gravity features, saying it, “seemingly floats perfectly on its pedestal.”

For both installations, a laser was used for precision accuracy and form. They said it was necessary to use, “a specific tool to accentuate the clarity of the architecture.”
