Based in Australia, Sam Octigan is a visual artist. His art centers mostly with paintings
on canvas. Dreamlike and poetic, his pieces have been exhibited in his country and
abroad. Fascinated from a young age by the visual image, and the link that connects
humans to it, his current work « seeks to delve deeper into the alchemy of what makes an
arresting image to an audience, while exploring his own personal interests in memory,
history, growth, home, and truth ». Representing familiar subjects in an original way, his
paintings are exploring « the intersection of narrative and abstract form ».
