Majestic and luminous, Oodi, the new Helsinki Central Library opened in December 2018 and has already encountered great popularity. «The building welcomed its one-millionth visitor already in March 2019 with daily visits on the busiest days topping at 20,000. People come there to spend time, not just to borrow and return books», explains the organization.
The local firm ALA Architects have conceived this jewel of architecture and design unfolding with many textures and grandeur.
