Ukranian artist Lena, aka RunLenaRun, discovered embroidery at a young age through her mother who hand knitted and sewed clothing. Her love for the craft was rekindled around three years ago, when she started putting down her own illustrations on cloth via embroidery. Using thread as her ink, she brings her art to life in the form of patches, brooches, jewellery, fabric patterns and textile hangings. Nature, as well as her various travels, have been a constant source of inspiration for her creativity. While she’s lived in various countries in the last 4 years, she’s constantly reaching out to her audience by initiating collaborations with fellow artists and showcasing her work on Instagram and Etsy.
