Yoshitoshi Kanemaki is a sculptor whose life-size works are both original and disturbing. Made from tree trunks, these are obvious in space because of their massive appearance. Thanks to them, the artist explores a wide range of human emotions. The sculptures can thus depict all emotions such as frustration, sadness or joy, thanks to the juxtaposition of several faces on one and the same bust, thus highlighting the profound complexity of human emotions, but also the ambivalence of the human being.
