Koji Kasatani is a Japanese artist specialized in sculpture. Inspired by his surroundings, scenes from everyday life, and frequently used objects, he creates impressive ceramic pieces. He reproduces his works from rubbish, cardboard boxes, or even food. He made a series of works with bananas, in a state of more or less advanced decomposition, giving them humanoid or animal forms, also creating busts with the whole fruit or only with their skins.
