It is known that an aesthetically pleasing environment can affect the brain positively. For the Milan’s Salone del Mobile 2019, Google and the Johns Hopkins University’s Arts + Mind Lab conceived a particular installation that allows to measure how our body reacts to the surrounding environnement. Thanks to a specially-made band, it is possible to analyse the visitor’s sensorial experience while he is walking through the different rooms. A Space for Being is based on the principle of the neuro-aesthetic and monitor our perceptions into a specific context. The installation comes from an idea of Suchi Reddy with furnitures by Muuto.
