Francesca Colussi Cramer is an Italian artist whose specialty is to embroider motifs on photographs she finds in a small vintage store near her home in North Wales. Thanks to the old photographs she finds, the artist diverts an existing story or memory in order to create new ones, thanks to the contribution of textile motifs. Sometimes abstract, his contributions create colorful touches and allow to renew clichés that, without his art, would have ended at the bottom of a drawer, or would have been destroyed. Thus creating a direct link between the past and our time, his works are tamed by touch and, by aesthetics, let the dreamers contemplate them.
