Chris Tate is an architect, director of the eponymous Chris Tate architecture firm, located in Auckland and Los Angeles. Creating unique and modern buildings, he imagined “Tent House”, an experimental project designed to challenge conventional ideas about weekends at home, and redefining the image of traditional camping.

Located on the Waiheke island in New Zealand, the house covers 70m2 and includes a mezzanine, a bedroom, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. This house-hut, with many windows, lets enter natural light and offers a magnificent panorama of the surrounding natural landscape. We already know what we will do in the next weekends!
