Louise Jones, known as Ouizi, is a Detroit-based artist from Los Angeles who has multiple resources: large-scale floral compositions, construction projects, or painting on canvas: nothing seems to escape her. She has now directed more than 50 public murals since 2013, working in parallel both in her studio and outdoors.
The artist’s largest floral fresco, Wildflowers for Buffalo, was recently completed in New York State by the Albright-Knox Gallery. The artist has done a lot of research, especially on native flora, to integrate it into her work. Louise Jones draws both the real and her imagination in the realization of her artworks, exploring the various colors and forms of botanical world.
