Laila Snaven, young graduated from Endhovens Academy, showed during the Dutch Design Week a polyptyque of 3 dimensional animation, that shows the flavour of food in the mouth (sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami). These videos combine the two main humain addictions : screens and food. Laila Snaven designed the facial expressions of a human eating with choices of shapes and colours, and she explains that our brain can guess the taste of food before eating, and feel it when watching a certain kind of distortion. It is a particular disposition of the brain, called sympathy, that enables the eye to play the flavour in our mouth just by watching it.
