A few weeks ago we presented all the know-how of the Danish brand Bang & Olufsen. The latter designs audio equipment whose design is one of the key pieces. The latest creation presented at the IFA (International Broadcasting Fair) in Berlin on August 29, 2018 is a good illustration. This is the Beosound Edge developed in collaboration with the famous designer Michael Anastassiades. Fubiz went to Denmark, in the den of the brand, accompanied by the photographer Ludwig Favre, who makes us discover in pictures this little gem of design.

This wireless speaker has a very simple circular shape, which adds a touch of aestheticism to your interior. Designed in polished aluminum, the brand’s favorite material, the Beosound Edge is designed to be either wall-mounted, defying the law of gravity, placed on the floor and blending into the furniture and decor of the room. It has smart sensors, which detect the presence near the user and subtly illuminate the touch interface. It is then possible to adjust the volume in one gesture.

To contrast with the aluminum structure, Bang & Olufsen and the designer Michael Anastassiades provided the enclosure with a black fabric, on the sides, which keeps all the sobriety and minimalism of the creation.

The Beosound Edge is equipped with the advanced sound quality that Bang & Olufsen has known for more than 90 years. We will devote soon an article dedicated to the sound delivered by this magnificent latest creation of the Danish brand. As we told you before, the sound quality of Bang & Olufsen is allowed thanks to the ever smarter design and thought for the comfort of the user.

This latest creation by Bang & Olufsen demonstrates once again the brand’s know-how, which continues to perfectly combine design and sound quality. The Beosound Edge will be presented on September 6th at Paris Design Week.
