As surprising as it may seem, Oslo-based architecture studio Haugen / Zohar Arkitekter has designed ultra-design public toilets for tourists in the Gildeskål region. Overlooking the Norwegian Sea and the snow-capped mountains, the structure located on a rest area to offer travelers a more enjoyable experience on the site. The sanitary block represents a wave, which harmonizes perfectly with the landscape. At night, the glass walls make the site a luminous landmark. And that’s not all. In addition to toilets, the rest area to add concrete slabs to the curved shape to allow tourists to sit down. Innovative !
