On March 26th, it was the famous “Air Max Day”, that celebrates the iconic Nike shoes, whom the first edition, the Air Max 1, was released in 1987. For the “Air Max Month”, Nike organizes the “Nike On Air“, that is composed with design workshops. The event enables to participants to create a pair of “Air Max” that reflect the image of their town, among the 10 iconic designs. After a start in Shanghai on March 22nd and stages in London, New York, Seoul ans Tokyo, that’s the turn of Paris to welcome the experience on April 14th and 15th.
Nike’s designers and members of locale creative community will be there to guide participants and they will also reveal the secrets of the creation process of the “Swoosh brand”. The Parisian youth will be invited the imagine the “Grand Paris” Air Max. Two days places on the under the sign of the design, the creativity and the revival. Rendez-vous on April 14th and 15th at the Cité de la Mode et du Design, in 34 Quai d’Austerlitz in the 13th district of Paris. Maybe new Air Max design during the event…
It’s still time to take part to this exceptional event. Four steps will punctuate the experience until the final creation.
First, you have to subscribe to submit your creation. If it’s chosen, you will be invited to take part to the design session to create your Air Max. The creations will be shown to a Parisian jury composed of representative figures of the creative scene. Three designs will be submit to the vote of the entire World. Finally the design which will received most votes will be launch by Nike in the future. So, it’s now your turn to play !
