New York gallery David Zwirner celebrates the work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The exhibition, named “Festival of life”, presents itself as a multi-sensory and immersive journey that blurs the visual references of curious visitors, for their greatest pleasure. Indeed, the two rooms in which silver spheres are reflected infinitely or multi-coloured luminous patterns blink on the surface of dozens of mirrors are enough on their own to delight the public, while the gigantic tulips which dominate in the middle of the other room with white walls, lined with red peas, transport the visitors in an enchanted universe.
