In Gothenburg, Sweden, Madrid-based artist Christo Guelov designed this “Lego” bridge, painting its gigantic columns into Lego-like structures. This artistic intervention on the Älvsborgsbron bridge in Gothenburg seeks to break the gravity, volume and great weight of the subject in question. Guelov‘s project is part of ‘Let’s colour Gothenburg’ — a competition that puts unemployed youths into work and aims to unite the city. throughout the project, the participating youths will be given the training to become professional painters.
