As every year since 2010, Nikon organizes the Nikon Film Festival, that is now famous. On a gave theme, young directors are invited to submit a short movie of length of 2 minutes 20 seconds maximum.
This year, participants are invites to imagine their creation on the topic “I Am a Gift” until January 10th 2018. A prestigious jury, chaired by the actress and movie director Emmanuelle Bercot and composed of Pierre Niney, Marie Gillain or Noémie Merlant, will chose the best submissions.
Emmanuelle Bercot takes the reins after Cédric Klapisch, President of the jury for the 2016 edition. The actress and movie director was revealed with a short movie entitled Les vacances, released in 1997 and which was awarded by the Prix du Jury at the Festival de Cannes. She give some advices to the talents who would like to take part to this experience.
The president of the Jury is excited to discover the way that the imagination of directors was expressed on the gift theme. She highlights the challenge of the very short frame offered by Nikon. But this frame is also a chance by its viral aspect.
If you have lots of imagination, if directing a movie is a passion and if you like challenges, The Nikon Film Festival is made for you. You just have to fill the inscription document and take part to this adventure. Your creation will maybe have the same destiny than the winners of last years, with the projection in theaters on TV screens or Nikon material.
