The architectural firm Marcus Novais Arquitetura has just rehabilitated the 2,000 square meters Museum of Photography in Fortaleza, Brazil. Located in Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará, the collection includes thousands of pieces, including historical names such as Steve McCurry, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Marcel Gautherot.
The objective of this rehabilitation was to create a contemporary architecture. Marcus Novais therefore opted for very simple forms and materials to convey volumetry and timelessness, as revealed by the photographs of Celso Oliveira and Igor Ribeiro below.
