For the 2017 Venice Biennale, the Italian artist Lorenzo Quinn (from Halcyon Gallery), creates a strong and meaningful installation that powerfully percutes the visitors of Grand Canal. Two enormous hands come outside the water and seem to cling to the wall of the Ca’ Segredo hotel. Like a huge giant trying to survive to the drowning. The artwork is a premonition on the dramatic future that could awaits Venice with the rising of water due to climate change.
