Lightness and instability are the key words to understand this design work by Mauricio Arruda. With a lot of sense of humour and creativity, the designer put a 250 kilos table on laser cut steel cards. A hommage to the game house of cards, a strong symbol in people’s imagination evoking instability and sense of strategy. The images of the playing cards are printed individually in the plates of steel, which allows each table to have a different configuration, becoming single pieces. They are assembled like a house of cards in a real cards game, where each piece is drawn randomly.
