For the 200 years birthday of the famous Russian painter Ivan Aivazovsky, his masterpieces normally exhibited in different museums of the country have been gathered in Moscow. The commemoration and exceptional gathering is the occasion to rediscover the perfection of his paintings. The large majority os his work represents the sea, rather unchained, rather calm and sooth. This theme cross the ages and the painter’s waves still move who is looking at them. The exhibition opened on the 28th of July at the Tretyakov gallery and will close on the 20th of November 2016.
