Leib Chigrin is an Ukrainian illustrator who’s passionate by photo-realism and pointillism. Known for his portraits made of dots, that he calls hedcuts, he makes all his illustrations by hand with ink and a pen. Recently, he drew a series of portraits of celebrities or great writers and scientists : from Umberto Eco to Albert Einstein through Isaac Asimov, Leonard Cohen, Fox Mulder, Spock and Jack Nicholson.
