Teresa Esgaio is a Portuguese illustrator who began in 2016 a graphic project that will last 100 days. Its title? AN ELEPHANT NEVER FORGETS and as I draw a little more, I forget a little less. 100 days to draw, 100 memories to share. Its concept? Drawing everyday a new hyperrealistic work with a pencil, charcoal or pastel. The artist chooses daily items or food such as a pineapple, candles, donuts, binoculars or a sheet of paper before recreating them with a striking realism and shooting them in black and white. A splendid project, both on a technical and on a creative plan.
