Considering painting as a language and inspired by the movement of expressionism, Spanish artist Andrea Castro is the author of delicate oil painting showing expressive and abstract portraits, filled with brushstrokes. Initially a student in fashion, Andrea loves to confront the figurative and abstract art by adding details such as embroidery or beads on the paint. Through all these faces, colors and shapes she paints, she wants to translate a story or emotions for each character, in order to make it readable to a stranger viewer.
