Since the 80’s, English artist Antony Gormley settled in the art world thanks to his atypical sculpture in human size showing abstract or pixelated bodies and silhouettes. He works with numerous materials such as iron and steel to build these “messy” and geometrical shapes. His most known artworks are Angel of the North, Field for the British Isles and Quantum Cloud. On his work, he declares : “My work is to make bodies into vessels that both contain and occupy space. Space exists outside the door and inside the head. My work is to make human space in space”.
