MrRTJL opened the Tumblr Tea & Movie where he shares analysis, references and comparison studies dealing with cult movies and TV shows. Through the video “True Detective – Comparisons and References”, he wanted to illustrate the different inspirations we can find in the stills of the TV shows created by Cary Joji Fukunaga and Nic Pizzolatto : from “Se7en” to “The Silence of the Lambs”, through “Ivan’s Childhood” and “Take Shelter”.
