Vacated and still vacant. There have been more than 9500 quakes and counting since the first on September the 4th 2010 in Christchurch New Zealand. And this month marks the first anniversary of the bigger Feb 22nd quake. Houses and hearts are in still the red zone. Buildings have been stirred to their deaths creating plots of dynamically bleak uninhabitable land, some filled with a triage of materials for the future – with every fallen building our horizons widen.
