These images are of ‘blandscapes’ from the South Island of New Zealand spliced with circles to realign shapes and texture. The beauty and awe of the protruding earth was a magnificent experience, however, i felt it necessary to intersect the scape with my digital scalpel when presenting them as photographs. It was important for me to contribute consciously to the photographs – to make something new by carving into the pixels.
