After Interstellar, director Christopher Nolan gets in a shorter format and in documentary with his short movie dedicated to the Quay Brothers, The Quay Brothers, that will be part of a series of films called The Quay Brothers – In 35MM. This short movie will focus on the universe and life of Stephen and Timothy Quay, two pioneers of the animation cinema. This movie will be introduced on the 19th August at the Film Forum in New York, along with three films directed by the Quay Brothers and produced by Nolan for the occasion : In Absentia, The Comb and Street of Crocodiles. The projections will be followed by a debate on the future of film rolls in cinema, with the presence of the three directors.
