Based on true facts, Stronger, Jake Gyllenhaal‘s next movie, tells the story of Jeff Bauman who survived this infamous Boston marathon in 2013. While he was waiting on the finis linge, he was injured by the explosion the bomb placed by the terrorists. He lost both his legs in the attack. The information he than gave to the police led to the identification of one of the terrorists. His story and his struggle for survival became symbols of the “Boston Strong” movement.
