This tale is told in true Sinhalese, with a 15 day train and road trip throughout Sri Lanka, Wonder of Asia. While going around sri lankan countryside, cities and landmarks, we met Jayathonga Herath and his family, from the Elephant Camp Guesthouse in Tissamaharama. They helped me out with the english poem translation into true Sinhalese language, and we sat down for a reading, which I then decided to incorporate into the film I was making of Sri Lanka”.
