The director of La La Land, Damien Chazelle, wanted to pay tribute to Los Angeles in his latest film. And this by accentuating elements that make this city unique, like urban sprawl, the texture of the sky or road traffic. This is what reveals the first sequence, shot on Highway 105/110 in Los Angeles. On the left part of the screen, the pictures of the shooting and on the right those of the film.
