Courgette is a young boy who has to face the lost of his mum. Thanks to the friendships and first love stories at the orphanage, he discovers that he is not alone. The movie highlights love and friendship, the importance of sharing and of being tolerant. Directed by Claude Barras and written by Céline Sciamma, the movie is audacious, touching and funny. ‘My life as a courgette’ completely surprised La Quinzaine des Réalisateurs in Cannes.
Gaspard Schlatter (Courgette), Sixtine Murat (Camille), Paulin Jaccoud (Simon) and Michel Vuillermoz (Raymond) give their voices to the characters. In theaters, October 19, 2016.
