For his first movies as director Ewan McGregor makes the adaptation of the Philip Roth’s best-seller American Pastoral. He will play a rich businessman at the end of the 60’s, and married with a beautiful woman played by Jennifer Connelly. They are the parents of a young and pacifist activist agains the Vietnam War, played by Dakota Fanning. Their life is peaceful until that their daughter makes an explosion in a post office.
