Illustrator and storyboarder living in Barcelona, Oriol Vidal has worked with major publishing houses such as Scholastic or Harper Collins. His serie of illustrations called “Summertime” is part of his personal projects, focused on summer theme: heat, sun and relaxation. A celebration of this period, where you swap the traditional suit and tie with shorts and flip flops, but also a time for travel, dreams, fun.
His drawings, very colorful presents various activities often practiced during summertime : Read a big book on the beach, jump into a pool, or walk through countryside tracks. The delicacy of his features, the number of details and the texture used in his illustrations immerse us into a realistic world where pleasure is the main word. That period undoubtedly deserves to last all year.
