The criminal Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) is mysteriously rescued from his execution by the modern Templars. Thanks to a revolutionary technology evoking his genetic memories, Lynch discovers to be the heir of Aguilar de Nehra. Aguilar was a member of a secret society called the Assassins, fighting against Spanish Inquisition leaded by Templars during the 15th century. The old conflict resurges.
The movie is directed by Justin Kurzel and it has been inspired by the video-game Assassin’s Creed. Also in the casting Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Michael K. Williams. In theaters December 21, 2016.
